Purav Adiecha has leveraged his wide-ranging finance experience in several industries, including automotive, banking, telecommunications, technology, chemical, retail, media, transportation and business services. This strong and diverse background makes him a valuable member of the MorrisAnderson consulting team.

With an ideal mix of finance consulting and business strategy expertise, Adiecha is adept at assisting clients with a number of complex business challenges. In his most recent position as vice president at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, within its Global Corporate and Investment Banking (General Industries) group, he was involved with relationship management and business development, research and due diligence, credit and underwriting, and sales performance.

In this role, Adiecha supported five senior bankers with diversified mid-cap portfolios ranging between $20MM to $60MM in revenues each. He handled transactional idea generation and execution; preparation of marketing materials; drafting and negotiation of term sheet proposals; support of client due diligence; credit, underwriting and risk assessment for a market portfolio worth approximately $1 billion in bank debt commitments; financial compliance issues; client relations; and clients’ banking issues.

Adiecha also worked with senior management on market strategy; sales analyses and metrics tracking; defining market goals and growth initiatives; developing several tools to promote sales performance, sales-force optimization, ROI/break-even analyses and right-sizing.

In 2008, Adiecha received the Bank of America Spirit Award of Excellence in recognition of his exceptional job performance, and was one of three candidates nominated and sent to India to assist with setup and training of an offshore team to outsource sales related tasks.

Adiecha also worked at The Dow Chemical Company as a Financial Analyst with their Treasury and Credit groups, where he performed quantitative statistical analysis, made recommendations on Dow’s customer credit evaluation tools and credit rating, and developed financial modeling tools.

Before his time at Dow and Bank of America, Adiecha consulted big-name clients across the country, including DaimlerChrysler AG, Chase Manhattan and Lucent Technologies, helping manage multimillion-dollar projects; assisting in negotiations; designing and implementing cost and profitability analysis; and collaborating on presentations to secure venture capital.

Adiecha has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering from University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and a master’s degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business, with concentrations in Finance and Strategy. He has also passed the CFA Level 2 examination toward his CFA charter and is currently a CFA Level 3 candidate.
